  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar
  • 175 grams of butter
  • 3 cups flour

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 400 grams Iskele Dried Figs
  • 1 cup of hazelnuts
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
  • To prepare the fig filling; soak the figs you cut off the stems in warm water for 10 minutes to soften them. Put the dried figs you cut in half in the hand blender. Take it through the blender until it is mashed with the addition of hazelnuts.
  • Mix the egg and powdered sugar in a deep mixing bowl. Respectively; add the yogurt, butter, vanilla extract, sifted flour, and baking powder. Knead all the ingredients until they become creamy.
  • Separate a quarter of the dough you prepared and put it in the freezer. Roll out the rest of it with the help of a rolling pin on the floured kitchen counter to a thickness of 1-2 cm.
  • Carefully spread the rolled-out dough on the bottom of a lightly greased round baking tray or tart tin. Poke holes in several places with the tip of a fork. Spread the fig mixture you prepared on it.
  • Take out the dough you have kept in the freezer. Use the coarse side of the grater and start grating the dough on the fig filling. Press lightly on them so that they stick to the fig puree.
  • Bake the fig tart, covered with dough pieces, in a preheated 180-degree oven for 35-40 minutes. After it comes out of the oven and cools, sift powdered sugar on it and share it with your loved ones in slices.
